Vancouver Police are asking for help to locate 63-year-old Mary-Louise Arnold, last seen Friday morning in downtown Vancouver.

Ms. Arnold was discharged from St. Paul’s Hospital around 5 a.m. on November 25, but did not return to her East Vancouver home and has not been seen since.

Arnold often spends time in the Downtown Eastside, and is described as 4’9″ and 100 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who sees Ms. Arnold is asked to call 9–1–1 and stay with her until first responders arrive.



Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is looking for 78-year-old James Leacock and asking the public for help.

According to police, Leacock was last seen in the 700 block of Allen Side Road around 1 p.m. today.

Sault police describe the 78-year-old as follows:

5’9” tall
approximately 190 pounds
wearing a black windbreaker jacket, a toque and green rubber boots.

There is currently a heavy police presence in the 900 block of Maki Road, as officers are actively trying to locate Leacock.

Sault Ste. Marie police is asking anyone with information on Leacock’s possible location to contact them at 705–949–6300.



Surrey RCMP is requesting the public’s help in finding a missing 42-year-old woman.

Venassa Auger was last seen on Nov. 12 in the 7500 block of King George Boulevard in Surrey.

Police are concerned for Venassa’s well-being, as she has not been seen or heard from since.

Auger is described as a 42-year-old Indigenous female, 5”7’, 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black and grey jacket, black yoga pants and white runners.

A suspect in a brief but harrowing kidnapping incident Friday has been apprehended by police.

The RCMP says Winnipeg police safely arrested Michael Stephen Klimchuk early Sunday morning in Winnipeg. He is now in the custody of the Portage la Prairie RCMP.

Klimchuk was wanted in connection to an incident Friday afternoon in which a 25-year-old woman and her two-year-old-daughter were kidnapped and forced to drive their captor from Portage la Prairie to Winnipeg.

The woman and her daughter were left behind unharmed in the Polo Park area. There’s no word yet on charges.

The investigation continues.



The Thunder Bay Police Service is requesting public assistance in locating missing person Emilie Carchidi, 17

Emilie was last seen Friday, November. 25 in the area of 955 Oliver Road, in the evening hours.

Emilie is described as a white female standing about 5' 7'’ tall with a medium build. She has long brown hair, blue eyes, and a nose piercing. No clothing descriptor are available at this time.
