Oceanside RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 60 year-old Ottavio Cutillo.

Ottavio Cutillo was reported missing on September 12, 2022 and was last seen on September 8, 2022. Ottavio Cutillo’s vehicle, a 2006 red Toyota Yaris with BC license plate MS5 98N, was located by police on September 12, 2022 near the old train station on Alberni Highway in Parksville.

All attempts to contact Ottavio Cutillo have been unsuccessful. Ottavio Cutillo is described as 6 foot 2 inches tall, 210 pounds, stocky, clean shaven with short cropped salt and pepper hair and is missing some teeth. Ottavio Cutillo usually wears dark clothes and is unsteady on his feet but frequents local walking beaches in Parksville and Qualicum Beach.

Since the initial media release earlier this date, Oceanside RCMP have received a very recent photograph of Ottavio Cutillo which depicts him wearing a full beard.

“Family and police investigators are very concerned for Ottavio’s health and are asking that anyone who may have seen Ottavio over the last few days or has information about his current whereabouts to contact Oceanside RCMP at (250) 248–6111,” says Sergeant Shane Worth of Oceanside RCMP.
