Winnipeg Police needs help to identify a male found in medical distress on October 18, 2022

On October 18, 2022, the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of a male in medical distress located in the St. Norbert area and transported to a Winnipeg hospital. The Missing Persons Unit requested the public’s assistance to identify the male and notify his family. He was wearing a distinct Phoenix Coyotes jacket (as seen below).

Since this information was shared, no tips have been received regarding his identity.

As a result, we are now advising that the male has passed away. His death is not believed to be the result of foul play.

Investigators in the Missing Persons Unit have attempted to identify the deceased through numerous investigative avenues, including fingerprinting, missing person reports, and sharing information with community-based groups and law enforcement agencies.

A composite sketch of this male has been created to increase the likelihood he will be identified.

- he is described as approximately 25–35 years old

- 5’10’’, with an average build

- he has black hair

- he has no visible marks, scars, or tattoos
